A letter to a dead man
As our friends know, my wife and I have been rather poorly over the last year. I with a burst Stent and my wife with a blood clot too near her brain and damaged in part.
A number of my blogs and X's, were sent to Australia's top broadcasters, one Phillip Adams, who ran a program with the title of Late-Night-Live. It ran for many years and when I listened, he never hessitated with his perfect Diction and Clarity of voice . I always said he was Australia's Ad Murrow and Englands Alister Cooke with Letter from America, which my family used to listen to each week.
I knew he had retired and hung up his earphones, but I wanted to thank him for is kindness. We had been away, off and on for a year, when I noticed no responses to articles I sent to Phillip and his email address went dead.
A letter to Phillip would do the job, so I wrote him a letter - Good old postal service and there it went.
In writing a strange thing happened, up popped Legacy message recording his funeral detail, damn it a year agoe .Ok better late than never.
On this basis.
Verbatunm I will Quote It ------- A latter to a dead man.
Mr Phillip Adams

Dear Phillip
What a year! I have hopefully wound down my Blogs-X's etc. In dong so I made up a little package for people who have shown interest in my work.,
For you, it is a thank you for the kind responses you have made over the years, they certainly gave me the fortitude to say to the World my thoughts on matters pertaining.
Regretfully I never spke on your radio program, for many reasons I suppose. I do not listen now s I feel L N Lws Phillip Adams, full stop.
The grape vine tells me you have not been well, this last year --- That is not allowed, under some convention, somewhere for older folk like us.
I had fun, when my stent burst and a helicopter ride Batemans Bay to Prince of Wales Sydney, where they sewed it up. I just have to keep my pulse down to 55 Then came the real crash, my dear wife Patricia, had a blood clot next to her brain and they could not operate --- The damage was done, she is at home but will never be the same.
Thank you again Phillip, for your kind responses
Kind regards to you wife and family\

As I write helicopter is flying north , I hope they make it ok.
King Charles is in Washington, we hope he and his Queen will be kept safe. The Princeton Prison is still there on Dartmoor England, the place where the first prisoners were from the colony now USA, It all fits in with the Kings Visit --I hop he mentions it.
Kindest regards
JUST a YEAR LATE - Better late than never
And so it was. The letter was mailed, to the family.
Phillip was one of the best and we miss him.
I will never get a Koala stamp, but as tribute to him I will be changing my 'Call sign' to a painting of a Koala
