ANIMALS
At a shopping centre in Coffs Harbour, Northern NSW, I met a young lady, endevouring to get sponsorships for the World Wildlife fund . Regretably by some form of bank transfer. Not for me, cash contribution there and then,is OK. but not Bank transfers on a regular basis.
I told her of my blog August 2017 'A Tiger Named Ben' and other stories, I gave her my card. Putting up with me for a while, she said she had to go back to work, WORK no no, it is an occupation!. Anyway I remembered Patricia,s writings on Animals and their treatment by us humans. I also thought of the Bears and Wolves killed in the Bulkan's conficts. There were others of course and all the poaching World Wide.
Here is the story Patricia wrote.
ANIMALS
Do we think enough about our animals in the World. We have conflict's in the World, situation's that lead to war, with no thought of our creatures. Animals are in trouble all over our World . We take over the land to build houses, large buildings and again no thought for the creatures, that live in the space.just our selves.
Thought comes later to some, but not enough. How can we live without them?, it would be a very dull World.
I ask you today, to give some thought to your space, where you are and what is around you.Things we take for granted, our Birds, Snake's, not every one loves them but they are quite beautiful and so many different kinds. Insects , some are so fainating. I love Stick Insects and our fish colours so wounderous.
Where I live the Wombats: Possums that drive our dog (now deceased) and. Anticinas that drive Me mad, but there again, where would we be without them.
Some like to shoot our Kangaroor's but there again, we do kill animals for food and for some, we do concern ourselves, for how they live in their short time on Earth. So, I ask you to say at least a prayer for these creatures and our pets, who give us their time and love, without question.
So please close your eyes and say a prayer of love. Sing 'All Creatures Great and Small.
