Thermodynamics Institute
I am a product of the Graduate School of Thermodynamics, at the University of Birmingham England, way back in the late 1950's It was an iconic time, in that the students all went on to develop products and strategies that are relavant today, in fields such as Jet Propulsion; Nuclear in all its forms and General energy conversion. and dynamics.
In seeking to initiate this Institute, I must include the words, and "Related Studies'.
We thus have "Thermodynamics and Related Studies- Institute.
The more I have thought, about this project, the more it is clear to me , that I should go back, to my time at that incredible University.
So began the search for the Graduate School of thermodynamics, as it maybe today, to see if I can raise interest, within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, for someone or group can get the thing moving.
Looking at the web site, goodness what an expansion. Where is my old building ,the Tower yes; Chad yes and another accommodation building the Mason complex. A good name is Mason.
I will be 90 on August 22, this year and so that is my target, for the creation of the ------------
